Inn Celebration offers a 12 minute chronological 120 year journey from 1886 to 2006. This Production takes you back to the construction of Shelburne House on the shore of Lake Champlain as a Summer Cottage for Dr. William Stewart Webb and his bride, Elila Osgood Vanderbilt and on through their creation of a model farm but reflecting the granduer of a vast European Estate. Set to music with no narration, this production is intended as a celebration of Shelburne Farm's built environment, set amid a 400 acre landscape sculpted by Frederick Olmstead.
